Materials in our courses are at an intermediate level to be appropriate for the largest number of international businesspeople, many of whom have already learned the basics of English but may need review after several years of business. Our suggestion is that a participant try this level first to make sure this important language can be understood with ease.

6. WHAT HAPPENS IF A PARTICIPANT CANNOT FINISH THE COURSE?

If an employee is unable to finish the work for a specific medical, family or work-related reason, he or she should write to us before the course ends. We will re-enroll them in the same course when their schedule permits at no cost. Request made after the course ends cannot be honored.

7. WHAT LEVEL OF COMPUTER SKILLS ARE NECESSARY?

Some experience surfing the Internet and using the computer keyboard in English is recommended. The web-based learning environment is easy to use.

8. WILL PARTICIPANTS HAVE INSTRUCTORS TO HELP THEM MAKE PROGRESS?

Yes, a highly qualified professional trainer is assigned to every course. Participants have several ways to interact with the instructor and other participants: via a Discussion Board, internal email, and real-time chats.

9. HOW DO PARTICIPANTS REGISTER FOR AN ONLINE COURSE?

Participants can register individually at the website:

1. Begin by deciding which month to start. It is a good idea to choose a month with little or no travel. It is possible to continue studying and participating fully wherever an Internet connection is available, so a trip doesn’t necessarily prevent progress.

2. Register and pay for the courses at the website. Participants should register at least one week before the course begins.  Payment in U.S. funds can be made in three ways:

a. online, using a credit card on our secure server

b. printing the online registration form and faxing your credit card information to us

c. sending an email to reg@bizenglish.com providing this information: name, email address, company name, position, course name, credit card number and exact name on credit card, and expiration date


If your company wishes to register a group, email us with the name, position, email address, and choice of course(s) for each participant. Payment may be made by credit card, check drawn on U.S. funds or wire transfer. Let us know if you need wiring instructions or have any questions about payment.

10. HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED TO TAKE A COURSE?

It is recommended that participants spend five or more hours a week on the lessons and interacting at the learning site. The exact amount of time depends on the individual, however. Courses start on the first day of the month. Participants have access to the course for two months.
